Last time we looked at blue as a brand colour. Today it’s red!

Red is a vibrant colour often with associations with life (blood) and emotion (heart).

You will have noticed that I have changed the theme of my cover photo to blue and I quite like the idea of having colour themes for every week, so watch out for what the next one is. As a makeover corporate headshot photographer, colour is a really important part of my job as I need to combine wardrobe, make-up and background to complement brand colours as well as the skin tone and hair colour of the women I photograph.

The older ones amongst you might recognise Andy Gibb, the brother of the Bee Gees, and if you don’t recognise him then surely the teeth give it away. The other person in the photo is me, an awkward, shy girl of 13 years old, not really understanding why I was in a TV studio, with cages, Phantom Flan Flingers...
