For 50 remarkable women, the decision to embark on a transformative journey began with a simple but challenging choice - to step outside of their comfort zones and undergo a makeover photoshoot experience that would forever change the way they saw themselves.
Although these women loved the wisdom that accompanied growing older, they were struggling with the changes to their appearance. Even though their friends would tell them how beautiful they were - they just couldn’t see it themselves. And as for when someone brought out a camera - most of them just wanted to run away.
And then one day, whilst browsing social media, a photo caught their eye and they started reading about how a woman in Dorset (that’s me ;-) ) could help them learn to love themselves. And so their journey started - towards self acceptance and even self love.
And here are the results: 50 stunning women who have come to realise that their lines and their curves tell the story of their lives - women who have learned, danced, carried and brought up children, cared for or lost their partners, worked hard for a living, who have run marathons, owned businesses, recovered from serious illnesses; they are all here.
And this is my tribute to them. Thank you, you amazing women. You have changed my life too.
