Who am I and how can I help you?
With 20 years of experience in helping people feel their best in front of the camera and capturing memories, and over 10 years specialising in helping women feel more confident in photos with makeover photoshoots, you’re in safe and welcoming hands. My name is Janette Edmonds and I’m on a mission to help women BE in photos - both for themselves and for their families.
I know what it’s like - I couldn’t bear to see myself in photos and I’d cringe when I saw how “fat” I was. I couldn’t understand why my friends would say I looked beautiful and I thought they were just being kind. But over the years I’ve trained myself to look at myself in a different way, and now I think having my photo taken is fun. And important!
And I can help you do the same…so that you can whip out your phone and take a selfie - just like this one. Don’t let life pass you by, don’t be forgotten - CAPTURE IT!

What Does A Makeover and Photoshoot Experience Involve?
01. We help you choose what to wear (about 2 weeks before the photoshoot.)
Choosing what to bring to a photoshoot can be really daunting. Whether it’s because you don’t know what will look best, or because you don’t think you have anything suitable, we can spot what is going to look amazing in photos and help you look your very best. In addition we have a vintage rail of dresses and accessories that you can choose from.
02. The Day of the Makeover and Photoshoot - Let Us Help You Feel Amazing
…With a pampering makeover by our wonderful makeup artist, Hayley De Beers, and a glass of bubbly to help you relax.
03. The Photoshoot
With 20 years of experience, I know how to help you pose to make the best of yourself, no matter your age, shape or size. It’s not your job to be “photogenic”, it’s my job to help you see that you ARE photogenic, that you are beautiful. I CAN change the way you see yourself.
04. The Viewing
It’s time to see your beautiful images and to see your true potential. I’ll show you a slideshow with some lovely music and then you get to choose which images you love best. There’s no pressure to buy - you’ll simply get to buy what you love. By now, the evidence is there in front of you - you ARE beautiful and you CAN look fabulous in photos!
